Rosemary Ginger
Adam Doucette, aka Rosemary Ginger, has quickly become one of the most in-demand young musicians in the Vancouver indie scene. Having been trained in piano and saxophone since a young age, it was in a Toronto hotel room after his audition to one of Canada’s top jazz schools when he decided that indie music was what he truly enjoyed.
Since switching paths and moving to the West Coast, he’s gone on to self-release two EPs of original music as Rosemary Ginger, all while completing session and production work for other local acts such as Blegh and Rinnovare.
After recruiting a cast of friends from other popular local acts Ramen Fog and Sylvie Cox, Rosemary Ginger has been playing stages with notable local acts such as Grade School and SUGARFUNGUS for just over a year. Their music pulls from a diverse set of influences, including Bon Iver, D’Angelo, and Unknown Mortal Orchestra.
