Hailing from Surrey BC, folk singer/songwriter CocoLarosa is a marine mechanic by day, and troubadour of unquestionable dexterity in the verbal arena by night. His raw, poetic songs resonate with listeners who appreciate the honesty of Bob Dylan, the grit of Tom Waits, and the emotional depth of John Moreland. Known for his passionate performances and high calibre lyricism, he regularly performs showcases and at festivals across the lower mainland. His FACTOR funded debut album ‘The Valley of Tongues’ is scheduled for release during the summer of 2026. He is a two time winner of the Fraser Valley Music Awards 'People's Choice Award' (2024/2025), and was nominated for the FVMA 2025 Singer/Songwriter of the year.
